N.O " Break the Shackles"

As a student I can relate to this song really well, N.O is a song by BTS in their album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Let's talk about its a little shall we?

The whole song is an eye catcher but the instrumental just makes it a whole more sassier. It adds a dramatic feeling to the whole song and the rap adds fire. The vocals before each chorus just makes it a whole meal. I have to say that the song deserves to be a movie soundtrack.

If we talk about the story of the song all the students around the world can relate to it. The MV starts in a classroom with a teacher feeding the students a.k.a the members pills to make them like robots and exactly identical to each other. We can see that the members acting skills are on another level as their movements and body language seem so much like real robots, literally I got a feel while watching the video as if I am watching A.I. Jungkook is the first one to break free from the pill as he turns his around to look only to be yelled on by the teacher. As he understood that he can break free from the ties he becomes more agitated and begins to rebel. Seeing this the rest of the members get restless as well and that's where the rebellion starts from.

This song symbolizes breaking free from the unnecessary rules and regulations that this society has put upon the teenagers and fight for yourselves. The cinematography of this song is on another level I mean this is a whole movie. All the members start fighting the white people who are presumably representing the society and break free from them.
I think I really don't have to talk about the choreography as it was a dynamite. I loved how the concept gives us a strong message and opens to the world how parents are putting a lot of pressure on their kids that they become deprived of their own dreams. The hands coming out of the ground as BTS dances is an eye catcher. As BTS walks into the new world the society as the teachers attacks them again but they fight them off.

Overall, this song is a masterpiece and a strong message for teens as well as parents.
